As of October 2025, Sunset Surf Motel became part of the Escape Lodging family, and after a full renovation of all guest rooms and common spaces, we are thrilled to welcome you to the newly reimagined Manzanita Oceanfront Inn.

We offer designated pet-friendly rooms with easy beach access, so you and your pup can go from room to sand in no time.
Bring your furry sidekick along for the fun—up to two pets per room are welcome. A $25 nightly fee per pet applies. Please contact the front desk to ensure your reservation is in a pet-friendly room.

Questions and Answers
Yes! We welcome pets in select rooms. Per our hotel policies, a $25 pet fee applies, per pet per night, with a two-pet maximum. If you are traveling with your pet, please let us know in advance of your arrival so we can ensure you’re in a pet-friendly room.
Our check-in time is 4:00 PM. If you’re in the area earlier than check-in, please feel welcome to stop by and we’ll happily reach out as soon as your room is available for you. Check-out time is 11:00 AM

Not every room at the Inn is equipped with AC. Many of our rooms rely on the coastal breeze and ocean air to keep things comfortable during the warm season, while select rooms do offer air conditioning.
